RILEY WARD

Deb Ward (Mom): Hugo , After a season and a half off from jumping it took only 3 weekends training at Kangaroo Track Club for you to help build back confidence, drastically improved her form and reminded Riley how much fun it is to high jump. The very next week she won the UIL 6A District 6 Meet, beat her high school’s high jump record and hit a new PR of 5’10”. Then she went on to win Regional and State!! We will be making the 4 hour drive back to KTC soon!

Riley Ward (athlete): Coach Hugo is a great coach, he that explained things in a way that really made sense to me. This made a huge difference in understanding what I needed to change. Just with 3 weekends, he improved my form and I am jumping higher than I ever could before.

NOTE1: In the 2023 season Riley kept improving and jumped 6’0″ and became the #1 HS female high jumper in the US.
