I started working with Hugo my first time in the summer going into my sophomore year of college (2021). I went into it open minded and ready to learn. The thing about high jump is there are a million ways to explain and teach it, but when I worked with Hugo everything clicked and came easy to me. The greatest takeaway that I left with was self belief, I left with a stronger mind which I believe is the most important aspect of high jump. After Hugo’s camp I now have a friend, someone who can help guide me through my high jump journey, and most important someone who wants to see me succeed just as much as I do. Hugo you have helped with the self belief I have in myself and for that I thank you. You have been nothing but supportive and welcoming and that truly means the world to me, I am truly grateful to have been able to work with you but more importantly call you a friend
