MELVIN AND DONTAVIOUS HILL

For Dontavious Hill (2018): Wow it’s been five years since I went looking on the internet for someone to train my boys in the high jump. I knew nothing about the sport their school didn’t have a high jump facility and they didn’t have a jumps coach. Five years later both of my boys are state champs and both are D1 athletes on scholarship. Coach Hugo was able to teach and motivate two totally different kids. That’s a great coach one who knows how to reach each kid. Thanks again for the past five years coach couldn’t have done it without you! Thanks Coach!!. For Melvin Hill (2015): Dear Coach Hugo, thanks to you we had an amazing year! This was Melvin’s second year of jumping and everything was wrong! Everything! I went to the web and started searching for someone who could help him get the proper technique. The school he attends does not have a facility of its own so practice was a challenge. Finally I came across kangarootrackclub.org . Like every parent I probably read all the testimonials and watched a ton of videos. Melvin was on the site 24/7 saying we needed to go! So the whole family took a road trip from Alabama to Texas. It was totally the right decision to make. In just the short time we had the difference you made was amazing! You gave him a new everything lol! From the approach to the landing on the mat everything changed. A few weeks later he went on to win the Alabama 7A Sate Championship with a 6-6 as a sophomore! This camp is definitely worth the investment. We met some great parents and kids while we were there as well. What really stood out the most was Coach is a motivator and knows how to get the most out of each individual. My son had never jumped that many times in a session before! He also didn’t have the shin splints he would get at every meet. Thanks again Coach let’s see if we can get 7 feet next year!!! Thanks, Roderick Broughton
